Summer 2024 taught me an important life lesson - PERFECTION IS AN ILLUSION
There is no such thing as perfect; it is an ideal that often leads us to frustration and dissatisfaction. Embracing our flaws is essential, as they are a vital part of our identity. Each imperfection tells a story, adding depth and character to our experiences.
Recognizing our unique traits allows us to appreciate the beauty of authenticity. Flaws make us relatable and human, fostering connections that perfection could never achieve.
In art, much like in life, it is the imperfections that create interest and evoke emotion. The subtle nuances in a mixed-media piece or the unexpected combinations of colors symbolize our personal journeys. I want this collection to be a reminder to celebrate what makes you different; it is your individuality that truly contributes to your narrative of life.
